Dogs of the Month-June 2020

Updated: Jun 9, 2020

Our Dogs of the Month are a sweet brother and sister, Murray and Marleau!

1. What is your name, age, and where do you live?

Murray: My name is Murray Snow, I am 4 years old and I live in Mars, PA!

Marleau: My name is Marleau Snow, I am 1 and a 1/2 years old, and I share a home with

Murray and our Pawrents in Mars, PA!

2. What is your favorite food?

Murray: My Favorite foods are Grilled Chicken and Skippy Natural Peanut Butter. I will do

pretty much anything for a good piece of grilled chicken!

Marleau: My favorite food is luckily my kibble, I could eat Open Farm Dry dog food all day! I

also love to eat Ice cubes, bananas, yogurt, and some of Murray’s Peanut Butter!

3. What is your favorite pastime?

Murray: My favorite way to spend my days is cuddled up on the couch on a rainy Pittsburgh

day, or on a nice long walk when the sun shines in Pittsburgh! At the sound of the word

“walk”, I can’t contain my excitement!

Marleau: I would spend all day every day outside if I could, laying on my porch, running

around the yard, and enjoying the weather (rain, sun, or snow I love it all!) Also, I love to

spend my days walking with Murray and my parents, Chewing on Benebones, playing with

Murray ( sometimes welcomed, and other times, not so much), and playing with ALL my

toys! I think it is so fun to dump every toy from the bin, take them all outside one by one,

and make my pawrents go get them (SO MUCH FUN)!

4. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Murray: My biggest pet peeves: (Theres a list) When Marleau steals my bones, when

Marleau mooches on my food, when Marleau stays outside for too long (why sit outside

when you have a nice couch inside to relax on), when it rains and I have to go potty (I don’t

like to get my curly fur wet), and when Marleau and my pawrents take up all the space in

bed.

Marleau: I don’t have many pet peeves, but I do wish I could play with every dog I see on a

walk and get pets from every human I see on a walk. I also wish when I finished breakfast

or dinner another bowl of kibble would appear so I didn’t have to mooch off of Murray. I

wish I could go visit the groomer and vet every day!

5. What is your favorite time of year?

Murray: My favorite time of the year is summer, I love to lay on the warm patio and

sunbathe. Fall isn’t so bad either, but I’m over the snow and cold of winter and the rain of

Spring.

Marleau: I LOVE ALL SEASONS. In Winter, I love to play in and eat the snow and it is the

perfect temperature outside for my extra floofy self! In Spring, I love to just sit outside in

the rain, so refreshing and I smell great afterwards. I also love to chase the birds! Summer

is also so much fun because I get to swim in the pool! It’s a little hot for me so I require a

cooling bed, fans, and ice cubes when I’m outside! Fall is also wonderful because I love to

chase the leaves anywhere and everywhere they go!

6. What is your favorite vacation destination?

Murray: My favorite vacation destination is Hilton Head Island South Carolina. I love to lay

by the pool, float on a raft, run on the beach, and soak up the sun!

Marleau: My favorite vacation spot is my crate. I love to escape to my crate when Murray or

my pawrents are driving me bananas or if I just need a little escape for an hour or so!

7. Where is your favorite spot to snuggle/nap?

Murray and Marleau: Our favorite place to snuggle and nap is on all things furniture. We

love the couch, we love our Pawrents’ bed, even a good fluffy rug. Basically anywhere but

our dog beds is a great place for a snooze.

8. What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done?

Murray: The naughtiest thing I have ever done hmmm.. I’m not really a trouble making dog

by any means, however I am smarter than my humans think I am. The naughtiest thing I

have ever done was going for a little solo exploration in Hilton Head, I came right back after

second guessing my decisions.

Marleau: By far the naughtiest thing I have ever done is pooped all over myself in the crate,

3 times in a row. I was not sick, just a little crate strike at 8 months of age.
