Doug and Toby are our Dogs of the Month for April. They may be different in size and age but they are best buddies!
1. What is your name, age, and where do you live?
My name is Doug. I am 10 years old. I recently moved to the area from Connecticut.
2. What is your favorite food?
I am a labrador retriever so I like every food. I eat everything that is good for me and some things that are not good for me.
3. What is your favorite pastime?
I love to play with the other pets in my family.
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when I have to wait to be fed. I can get very impatient when I am hungry.
5. What is your favorite time of year?
I love all seasons. I love to run and play in the snow and love the warmer seasons too.
6. What is your favorite vacation destination?
I haven’t taken too many vacations, but I do like to take long walks and run through streams when I can.
7. Where is your favorite spot to snuggle/nap?
I mostly sleep at the bottom of my family’s bed. I am large, so they make me stay on the floor in my own comfy bed.
8. What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done?
I like to eat weeds. We used to live in a house with large grasses. I ate so many of them that I blocked my intestines completely. This happened two times. I had to have surgery to remove the blockages. The surgeries were very expensive. Unfortunately, I can only be leash-walked now since I got into so much trouble.

I am not a picky eater. I eat most foods but love the dog food my family feeds me.
3. What is your favorite pastime?
I love to play with the other pets in my family and love when my mom throws my balls for me to fetch. We play a long time.
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when I am ready to eat and it is not time to eat yet.
