Well, here it is- November already! How is it the 11th month of the year?! Before we know it, all of the holiday fun and craziness will be upon us, then it will be time to usher in a new year-new decade, even! But before we rush things, let’s enjoy that tasty turkey!
Our Dog of the Month for November is a real Rock Star-well, at least he’s named after one! Mick Shodi gets his name from Mr. Jagger but he really is a star in our eyes. The sitters just love Mick and his sweet ways, we think you will too!
Happy Fall, Y’all! As I write this it is a beautiful, crisp morning, but it is about to be 85 degrees this afternoon. Summer is still going strong, and I am not one to complain about that! As I was thinking about what I wanted to write about this month, I found myself constantly thinking about new tips, some of which I’ve learned from All Pet clients; so, I thought I would share them with you. We have some very savvy pet parents amongst us, and I thank you for sharing your great ideas. Some of these tips are for dog lovers. Some are for cat lovers. And some are for all of our furry friends!
Our Cat of the Quarter is a real gem! Meet Bub, Buddy, Hambone-he answers to them all! Don’t let that stern look fool you-Bub Morton is a real sweetheart and we love caring for him! He’s also a real talker-just read below.
Happy Fall Y’all! Brody McCormick is our Dog of the Month for October-just look at those eyes! Brody stays with Maureen when his family travels and she loves having him! Read all about Brody and you just might figure out his favorite Pittsburgh sports team….
It is hard to believe that summer is winding down and it is already time to go back to school, and for those of you lucky enough to have summers off, back to work. Even though autumn is my favorite time of the year, I always find it a little difficult to get back into the new routine that fall brings. There are so many tasks that need taken care of around the house in preparation of that OTHER season that lurks behind fall (I refuse to utter its frigid name!). The days start getting shorter, wreaking havoc on everyone’s sleep schedules, only to awaken to find it is still dark outside- oh the humanity! And could someone please explain to me why summer goes by so fast and winter creeps by ever so slowly? Maybe it’s just me, but my dog seems to agree.
Cuteness alert! Bojangles “BoJ” Covvey is our Dog of the Month for September. BoJ has been with us for a year and is so adorable! Read on to find out all about him!
Summer is in full swing now! I hope you and your pets are making the most of it. Hopefully you have been able to enjoy it free from fleas and ticks, as well. I get a lot of questions asking about effective, natural ways to control and combat them. Since August is the worst month for fleas, it seemed like the right time to share. And selfishly, now I can refer everyone who asks to this blog!
We have a couple of real cuties for August-Finn and Bella! When you say the word cuddly these two come to mind-who can resist?
Hello, my name is Rae McStay!
Well, here we are. Summer is in full swing. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their days, in between raindrops and deluges!
After 2 months of writing blogs for All Pet, I felt it was time to introduce myself and give a better understanding of my background in pet care and nutrition. I am sure a few people have wondered, “Where did this Rae character come from and why does she think she’s an expert?!”
